Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council to accept TELEVISIONS for recycling
BATON ROUGE, LA.
The Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council (CACRC) will begin accepting televisions for responsible recycling at our public drop off location: 1400 Main Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802.
The cost to recycle televisions:
Up to 40” Flat screen TVs: $25
41” - 60” Flat screen TVs: $40
Over 60” or to recycle CRT Televisions: Call for price

Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council is a nonprofit organization committed to electronic scrap reduction and making available refurbished computers and equipment to schools, other nonprofits, and low-income families.
As an R2/RIOS certified
recycler, we must adhere to a rigorous material management strategy set by the
international Responsible Recycling Practices program. The CACRC follows
downstream and data material safely until the end of life product, and we are
the only R2RIOS certified recycler domiciled in Louisiana.

Our Services
Refurbishment
We collect, sort, and select the best computers for reuse. Through our refurbishment process, we are able to repurpose computers, laptops, monitors, and other devices for discounted prices to our community. Our refurbished computers include a 1 year hardware warranty.
Data Destruction
Since 2012, CACRC is Louisiana’s only R2 Certified e-waste recycler. CACRC’s ADISA certified erasure software provides compliance to NIST800-88R1 and DOD 5520.22-M, updated with the latest standards such as cryptographic erasure, block erase and block overwrite. CACRC also offers physical destruction with the AMS-150 shredder, in compliance with NSA/CSS SDDM 9-12; PCI DSS Data Security Standard; NIST SP 800-88; NIST SP 800-36; HIPAA; PIPEDA (Canada); GLBA; California Senate Bill 1386.
Business Pickup
We offer our pickup service for businesses and organizations who wish to recycle their electronics. We provide your organization with a Certificate of Destruction and ensure your data remains secure. Call us at (225)-379-3577 or email recycle@cacrc.com to setup an pickup.

What We Do
Device Recycling
We have our recycling process certified to the highest R2 standards of meeting data security requirements as well as environmental health and safety requirements.
Item Inspection
We sort, dismantle, data-wipe, and prep the devices that come through our facility to be reused in a safe, secure manner.
